It's been awhile since we've heard the name Casey Leonhardt in these parts. Moving to Nebraska will do that to a person.
Leonhardt, a 6-foot-5 center from Downers Grove North, began a promising collegiate basketball career at Illinois three years ago. She, along with several other big-name players from the West and Northwest suburbs, was part of UI coach Theresa Grentz's much- ballyhooed first recruiting class.
As freshmen, Leonhardt and her teammates helped Illinois win the program's first Big Ten title and advance to its first Sweet 16.
That group was broken apart two summers later after the program was shaken by an NCAA query into reports of ...
