New research published in Canadian Medical Association Journal says that the time required for new drugs to be approved in Canada is significantly longer than the required times in Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Since unduly long approval processes keep patients from receiving new medicines that may improve their condition, N.S.B.
