Americans are generally comfortable with the tax preparation process but not necessarily the IRS, according to a recent survey conducted via the Internet by Greenfield Online.
Sixty-four percent of respondents who do their own tax preparation selected "organized, knowledgeable, and in control," as an appropriate summation of their tax preparation personality, while a mere three percent adopted the description "uninformed and overwhelmed" and 32 percent fell somewhere in between.
