TRA Petitions U.S. Court of Appeals for Review Of FCC Advanced Services Resale Order.

WASHINGTON, April 7 /PRNewswire/ --

The Telecommunications Resellers Association has asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit to review the Federal Communications Commission's order which held that incumbent local exchange carriers did not have to offer for resale any xDSL-based advanced service they designate as a service aimed at Internet service providers. TRA's petition argues that the order simply gives incumbent LECs a new vehicle to avoid their statutory resale obligations with respect to xDSL-based advanced services.
