Flight attendants for Midway's number two carrier, American Trans Air, ratified a new contract which includes wage hikes that will put flight attendants on par with the airline's competitors.

"We helped make this airline a success, now we are finally getting our fair share," said Jackie Pritchett, president of the Association of Flight Attendants' Master Executive Council at ATA. "Our new contract gives us more control over our lives and the flexibility working women need."
