Fans of The Cheesecake Factory won't have to travel to the John Hancock Building or to the Old Orchard Shopping Center in Skokie come this fall.
The California-based restaurant chain is bringing its 40 varieties of cheesecake and its 200 menu items to Woodfield Shopping Center in Schaumburg, completing a plan some three years in the making.
"Woodfield has such a draw to it. It has such great stores," Cheesecake Factory Managing Director Kelly Hoxie, of Hoffman Estates, said. "To us, it was just an ideal location."
