Article: Expansion bids fall in line with Dist. 15 budget.(Neighbor)

Palatine Township Elementary School District 15 will slip into the first phase of its $13.8 million expansion project without popping any budgetary seams.

Bids approved by the school board at its April meeting covered roofing, electric and plumbing, structural steel, windows and entrances, site utilities, concrete, major equipment supply, wood door, frame and hardware and landscaping - and all fall within the district's financial guidelines.

"We're just pleased that it looks like we're going to be within our budget and in accordance with original plans," said George Lingel, District 15 assistant superintendent for business.
