A CRUFTS winning dog savaged a girl who planned to buy one of its pups.
Pet Tara, a rare Alaskan Malamute, sank her teeth into Leanne Greenfield's mouth, leaving her lip hanging off. Then the four-year-old bitch bit and shook her arm.
Leanne, who had only bent down to stroke the dog, said: "I couldn't believe I was being attacked. There was blood everywhere and I was crying my eyes out.
"I dread to think what could have happened if Tara had locked on to my nose or bitten my eyes. Even worse, what if a little child had been stroking her?"
