Apr. 26--TELL CITY, Ky.--Perry County residents will have an opportunity in May to voice their opinion on what should be done with almost 8,000 acres of land in the Mogan Ridge area.
Although considered a roadless area, Mogan Ridge, located in central Perry County, consists of 42 miles of deteriorated roadway and 19 miles of trails fit for horseback riding and walking, Hoosier National Forest Planner Regis Terney said.
On May 23 at the Fulton Hill Community Center in Troy, Hoosier National Forest officials will unveil a proposed rule and Draft Environmental Impact Statement for more than 40 acres of national forest roadless areas.
