Kabushiki Kaisha Kyodo Tsushin (Kyodo News) and Bridge Information Systems, Inc. (BRIDGE), one of the world's leading providers of financial information services, announced today that they have signed a letter of intent to transfer to BRIDGE the ownership of Kyodo News Markets Co., Ltd. (KM) and Kyodo Technos Kabushiki Kaisha (Technos), both affiliates of Kyodo News.
KM has been engaged exclusively in distribution in Japan of BRIDGE products and those of Telerate, Inc., a BRIDGE affiliate, while Technos has provided KM customers with system support and maintenance.
