American Express has announced that the tourism branch of its French subsidiary Havas Voyages would soon be sold to Germany's second-largest tourist group Condor+Neckermann (C+N). The German giant, which is currently eyeing up its British rival Thomson Travel Group, will ensnare a more modest prey in France. Havas Voyages' 380 travel agencies currently account for around 10% of retail tourist trade sales in France.
