CLOSTER, N.J.-Krups wants to build its business in the United States by leveraging the power of its brand name.
To that end, the company plans to expand into new categories, including adding personal and health care lines and possibly entering the gourmet cookware arena. The goal is to better cater to the demands of the department and specialty store channel, said Krups' Marc Navarre, who declined to disclose sales volume.
