Bridgestone/Firestone Off Road Tire Co. has proven to be fast on its feet during the past six years as it jockeyed to gain and maintain the top spot of the North American and global tire markets.
The Nashville, Tenn.-based firm won't stray from that course, either, during the next decade, as it attempts to drive sales upward with new products and innovations, according to Manny Cicero, president of the off-the-road operation.
Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. President Kenji Shibata, while discussing the firm's overall potential to catch Goodyear in North America, noted that the off-road operation, along with several others, already is ahead of Goodyear.
