AVERY'S UNIROYAL CHEMICAL SUBSIDIARY TO BE SOLD, REPORTS RESULTS
NEW YORK, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Avery, Inc. announced today its intention to sell the company's Uniroyal Chemical subsidiary.
Uniroyal Chemical, one of the world's fastest-growing specialty chemical companies, manufactures and markets crop protection chemicals, rubber additive chemicals, specialty plastics and petroleum additive chemicals, custom chemicals and elastomers. Sales for the 12 months ended Sept. 30, l987, were $627 million, representing essentially all of Avery's consolidated revenues.
