GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. has purchased the Aluminum Chloride Solution Business of Tetra Technologies, Inc. for an undisclosed amount of money. The business unit is involved with the purchase, upgrading and resale of aluminum chloride solutions, primarily for water and wastewater treatment applications. This acquisition will become part of GEO's Aluminum Products Group, serving as a strategic raw material source and extending the company's reach into additional water treatment markets.
