May 3--Win Holden, who was publisher of Phoenix Magazine for nine years, has been named publisher of Arizona Highways.
He replaces Nina LaFrance, who served an equally long tenure at the state-published magazine, the past five years as publisher.
LaFrance has taken a job as circulation director of Red Herring magazine in San Francisco. Red Herring is a New Economy business magazine that has been published since 1993.
Holden takes over in the midst of Arizona Highways' 75th anniversary, becoming the magazine's sixth publisher. He starts Thursday, while LaFrance's final day is Friday.
