DETROIT FREE PRESS AND NEWS URGE MEESE TO APPROVE JOA APPLICATION
MIAMI, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Detroit Free Press and The Detroit News today urged Attorney General Edwin Meese to disregard the recommendation of Administrative Law Judge Morton Needelman and to approve their application for a joint operating arrangement in Detroit.
In papers filed today, the newspapers detailed new factual circumstances "that completely change the nature of this proceeding and redefine the issues for the attorney general."
