CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Genetics Institute, Inc. (NASDAQ: GENI), has announced several developments in its legal dispute with Amgen, Inc., concerning patent rights to erythropoietin (EPO), a protein that controls the rate of red blood cell production in the human body.
