Saudi Arabia's first skyscraper, the 267-meter tall Al Faisaliah Tower, was officially opened last night during a 30-minute ceremony.

The royal ceremony, featuring the largest pyrotechnic and laser show ever witnessed in the Middle East, was produced by ProTech, who will soon produce the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics. In addition to the tens of thousands who lined the streets of Riyadh, the much anticipated show was viewed by an international VIP audience.
