Worldwide demand for thermoset resins will advance over 4 percent annually to 24 million metric tons in the year 2004. This represents a significant improvement over the previous period, when financial volatility in the Asia/Pacific region negatively impacted the primary markets for thermosets, including coatings, adhesives, construction products and automobiles.
