KNIGHT-RIDDER, INC. SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH NIHON KEIZAI SHIMBUN, INC.
TOKYO, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Knight-Ridder, Inc. (NYSE: KRI), a leading U.S. newspaper publisher and a major international provider of financial information, and Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Inc. (Nikkei), publisher of the world's largest daily circulation economic newspaper, today signed a five-point marketing agreement to distribute financial news and statistics in the booming Japanese financial information marketplace.
The formal agreement was signed in Tokyo today by James K. Batten, president of Knight-Ridder, Inc., and Ko Morita, president and chief executive officer of Nikkei.
