Pets.com Sock Puppet Submits Insurance Claim After Losing
an Eye in Nightline Appearance
The Pets.com Sock Puppet has submitted a claim today to Veterinary Pet Insurance to cover the costs of repairing his eye after losing it to a labrador retriever during the taping of an interview for ABC's Nightline. The honorary insurance policy was awarded to the Sock Puppet by Veterinary Pet Insurance earlier this year when the two companies agreed to work together to provide pet insurance via the Pets.com Web site.
