WESTLIFE revealed last night how they were paid pounds 200,000 to play a special performance for the Sultan of Brunei and his two wives.

The chart-toppers enjoyed royal treatment as special guests at the Sultan's luxury palace - and discovered he was a great fan of their music.

He laid on a huge banquet for the group and treated the record-breaking boy band like kings.

Singer Kian Egan said last night: "It was very surreal and we couldn't believe it.
