LEONIA, N.J., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Jaguar Cars Inc. today announced a recall of 1988 Jaguar XJ6 and Vanden Plas sedans.

It has been determined that on a range of 1988 XJ6 and Vanden Plas vehicles, the possibility exists that, due to stress corrosion, certain front suspension lower spring pan fixings may fail, which may allow the vehicle's front suspension to settle onto the bump stop on one side.
