NEW YORK-When it comes to home textiles, manufacturers are betting that such big-time basic apparel names as Fruit of the Loom and Hanes will have mass appeal and attract value-oriented consumers hungry for brand name goods.
Franco Manufacturing, which is taking the Hanes name beyond T-shirts and tube socks, gave the industry its first glimpse of the new Hanes for the Home line during the Spring New York Home Textiles Market.
