While many investors have been singing the praises of the European high yield market - at least, until recently - The Pioneer Group's Margie Patel has been happily invested in exclusively U.S. names.
Between the relative youth of the European market and its over-abundance of telecom names, as well as what she sees as plenty of opportunities in the U.S., the $27.5 million Pioneer High Yield fund has shied away from European investments so far, Patel said.
