May 21--MORE SUBURBAN OFFICE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION ON THE WAY: Granite Properties is ready to launch the next barrage of office building construction in the Houston suburbs.
New office buildings have been a rarity over the last year, following a surge of office tower construction in 1998.
Scott Martin, managing director of Granite Properties, said his company will start construction in three months on an eight-story, 200,000-square-foot project. The building, designed by Kirksey & Partners Architects, will be completed in the fall of 2001.
