Article: Parents should help their kids learn moral behavior.(Neighbor)

I don't know that I'd ever seen a parent more upset. In fact, he was exasperated almost to the point of being speechless.

His son, 9, was, in his words, "getting away with murder." Well, not quite, but from his father's perspective, close.

He was sure that in the last two months his son had lied to a younger sister about breaking one of her toys, had cheated by copying a friend's homework and, most recently, had stolen and then sold an older brother's Pokeman cards.

I could empathize with his feelings of frustration, fear, shame and hopelessness. But I was concerned that his main focus seemed to be how he could win the "battle" with his son.
