WAR veterans were outraged last night after the Millennium Dome won an extra pounds 29million in Lottery money - and the Dunkirk "Little Ships" trust lost a bid for just pounds 750,000.
Virtually every old soldiers' group lined up to condemn the decision and the doubts fund officials had over the "heritage" value of a memorial to the 860 small boats which helped save 338,226 stranded Allied troops in May 1940.
