West Midlands business leaders are travelling to London today to drive the region's hopes and struggles into the heart of government.
More than 100 high-flying delegates will be setting out the West Midlands First campaign, lobbying politicians, financiers and policy makers over clogged motorway networks and the devastating strength of the pound.
Assembled by the Confederation of British Industry West Midlands, they will also be trumpeting the region's advances in e-commerce and innovative forms of manufacturing.
