LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 2000

The establishment of the South Los Angeles Economic Development Partnership (SLAEDP) was announced today during a news briefing at the Family Savings Bank in South Los Angeles' Crenshaw community.

The regional partnership, a collaboration between WATTSHealth Systems, Inc. (WHS) and the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), is an effort to "jump start" the economy and revitalize the community in this often misunderstood region.
