May 22--AVERA HEALTH LISTED AMONG 100-MOST WIRED HEALTH SYSTEMS: For the second consecutive year, Avera Health -- which includes facilities in Aberdeen -- is listed among the 100 most-wired health systems in the country. The list, published in the April 2000 issue of Hospitals and Health Networks, rates hospitals and health systems on their use of computer technology for communicating with six key groups: patients, doctors and nurses, employees, suppliers, insurers and management. Avera ranks higher than the Top 100's average in most scoring categories.
