After this playing season, the Carol Stream Youth Baseball Association may have a tougher time scheduling games on park district fields.

Park board members decided to suspend the affiliate status of the association after the group blew the 5 p.m. Monday deadline to turn over financial documents for an audit.

Carol Stream Park District board members wanted to study the financial management of the association, which serves nearly 2,000 children.
