MEN are vastly under-informed about male cancers. June is Male Cancer Awareness Month and, despite the fact that testicular cancer is the most common cancer to affect young men, more than two thirds of men know little or nothing about it.
And that's worrying, because if testicular cancer is caught early enough there is more than a 90 per cent chance of a cure.
JUST as women should examine 0their breasts each month, men should do a monthly self-examination for testicular cancer. But 50 per cent never check their testicles for lumps and bumps.
