Possible disciplinary cases involving 17 male basketball players and four or more faculty members connected to the Gopher basketball scandal have been referred to eight University of Minnesota colleges by a special faculty committee.
Those cases will be reviewed by colleges that could recommend stripping students of class credit or disciplining faculty members if they find academic fraud. A case will go to the college where the faculty member taught or, in the case of the students, to the college the class belongs to.
