"Isaac" is an event - at once disturbing and magnetic.
Watching David Schulner's searing drama about religious devotion and the nature of faith and God is like looking into a deep cavern and being terrified by the brooding darkness. At the end of the evening, it leaves you strapped to your seat - awed, exhilarated, confused.
It wows you with language that is as sharp as it is cutting, with turns of phrases that are clever without being too cute.
