Neighborhood shopping centers are once again the top performers among the four major shopping center types, with reported tenant sales of $260.49 per square foot. According to the Urban Land Institute (ULI) survey Dollars and Cents of Shopping Centers(TM): 2000, neighborhood shopping centers also reported the greatest increase in sales per square foot over the last three years -- with an increase of 21% in sales.
