Annika Alford, program manager for IDC Latin America's Internet research, has been named one of the 50 most influential people affecting the growth of the Internet in Latin America by i- biz Magazine, a Dow Jones publication.
The article, in i-biz's April 2000 issue, cited IDC as "the Bible" in Latin America among firms collecting and analyzing industry statistics and also made reference to IDC as the most quoted source of Internet industry statistics on Latin America.
