Biomira Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOM) (TSE: BRA) announced the presentation of data today from a Phase I trial in patients with recurrent metastatic breast cancer treated with dendritic cells incubated with its BLP25 cancer vaccine. Researchers from the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service in Edinburgh reported at the 36th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) that an antigen pulsed dendritic cell therapy approach to breast cancer treatment is safe and feasible.
