`Hackers' Who Intentionally Spread Computer Virus Could
Face 7-Year Prison Term; Must Reimburse Victims for Damages
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 26 /PRNewswire/ --
Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge today signed Senate Bill 1077, amending the Pennsylvania Crimes Code (Title 18) to deal with criminals who use computers to deliberately spread damaging computer viruses.
The bill passed the House and Senate unanimously.
