Katy Industries, Inc. (NYSE: KT) announced that effective July 1, 2000 it will realign its operating units into three business groups under common management to better serve the markets and customers in which each business group operates. The three business groups are Maintenance-Retail which includes Contico, Duckback Products and Glit/Gemtex; Maintenance-Commercial which includes Continental Manufacturing, Wilen Products, Glit/Microtron, Loren, and Glit/Disco; and Electrical/Electronics which includes Woods Industries (North America), GC/Waldom Electronics and Hamilton Precision Metals.
