Tularik Inc. (Nasdaq: TLRK) and Japan Tobacco Inc. announced today that they have entered into a broad collaborative agreement for the discovery, development and commercialization of products for the treatment of metabolic diseases. Under the terms of the agreement, Tularik will form a wholly-owned subsidiary to conduct the research portion of the collaboration.
