33% Increase in Tax Returns Prepared
LAS VEGAS, May 22 /PRNewswire/ --
Jackson Hewitt Inc., a unit of Cendant Corporation (NYSE: CD), announced today at its annual convention that a record-breaking 1.7 million returns were prepared at Jackson Hewitt's nearly 3,000 franchised locations during the 2000 tax season, a 33% increase as compared to the 1999 tax season. The company also reported that system-wide revenue increased by 45% over last year.
