Hospital to Donate Hand-Held Defibrillators to Nine-Area Golf Courses
SEATTLE, May 22 /PRNewswire/ --
Northwest Hospital today announced a nearly $600,000 contribution to reduce the risk of death for those who suffer life-threatening sudden cardiac arrest on several area public and private golf courses. In addition, an endowment established from this gift will help increase awareness of the signs and symptoms associated with cardiovascular disease. The program is the first hospital-centered program of its kind in the nation.
