On State of Internet Privacy and Federal Trade Commission Recommendations

Christine Varney, advisor to the Online Privacy Alliance, today told a Senate panel that the facts in a recent FTC report on Internet privacy do not support the agency's call for broad and sweeping regulatory authority and new privacy laws to protect consumers online.
