1/3 Two years before its new law school opens, the University of St. Thomas has scored a coup by hiring away the dean of the nationally ranked University of Notre Dame Law School.
David Link, the longest-tenured law school dean in the nation, will leave the school he's headed since 1975 to come to St. Paul this fall.
"It's a wonderful challenge," Link said. "I'm kind of a creator type . . . and I feel I just want to start something from the ground floor."
