1/3 About 60 kids were clamoring for George W. Bush's attention Wednesday afternoon, peppering him with questions. One asked if he lives in the White House.
"I do live in a white house - not the White House, though," he told them. "It just happens to be painted white."
Then the Texas governor, the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination in 2000, smiled slyly at the ring of advisers, staffers and reporters who surrounded the kids at Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis.
