1/3 Pleasant portabella patties
Here's a container of new Portabella Burger grilled mushroom patties, one of two kinds of frozen nonmeat patties from Terry's New Generation Foods, a new Minneapolis company. Mr. Tidbit thinks the replaceable-lid containers are an improvement over the plastic bag in a box that is the typical packaging for veggie burgers.
Mr. Tidbit is not an expert on nonmeat patties, but surprisingly (to him), he thought the portabella burger, which has only 5 grams of fat, was pretty good - and he really liked the veggie burger, which contains large pieces of vegetables, has no fat and fries up crisp in a little oil.
