1/3 Visit a Kohl's department store on any given day and the parking lot will probably be clogged with minivans. And inside, it's not uncommon to spot time-weary Moms pushing strollers the size of sport-utility vehicles, efficiently navigating the store's aisles.
Oh, and nearly everything in sight is on sale.
"Kohl's has the selection," declared one shopper, who identified herself only as "Joyce from Eden Prairie." When asked if she prefers Kohl's to middle market competitor Mervyn's, she paused: "They just seem to have . . . more."
