1/3 DARK DENIM: If you pick up a pair of jeans this season, inky indigo is the color to buy. The look is classic James Dean, but today's dark jeans don't have to be the stiff, uncomfortable kind worn in the '50s. New finishes and washes, combined with modern stretch fibers, make today's dark denim soft and wearable, according to Robyn Waters, vice president of trend merchandising for Target Stores.
